Rawhiti Coaching Request

Dear Parents/Whanau,
Once again we are hoping to enter as many teams as possible in the new weekly Rawhiti sports competition in New Brighton that begins in Term 2 and runs through to Term 3. Last year’s competition was extremely popular with the students and we had great success with both the Senior football and the Junior rugby teams winning their competitions. The sports involved are Netball, Hockey, Soccer, Kiorahi, Table Tennis, Rugby and also the possibility of Lawn-bowls being included this year. There is also a gardening option for those non-sporting students. It would be great for each team entered to have an adult to coach/manage at Rawhiti and they may be asked to referee/umpire for half a game.
If you can help, or know of someone who might be able to help, please let the school know by Friday 13th May. The more help we get, the more children we can involve in competitive sport.
